School Uniform
The wearing of school uniform is required for the following reasons:
- It gives the children a sense of belonging to the school family.
- It gives a sense of pride in our school.
- It gives children a sense of equality.
Pupils should wear to school:
- White/royal blue shirt/polo shirt
- Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan (plain or with school logo)
- Black/dark grey school trousers or shorts
- Black/dark grey knee length skirt or pinafore
- Blue/white checked school summer dress (worn with white socks)
- Plain grey/white or black socks/tights
- Black or brown formal, sensible and securely fitted shoes - not trainers or sandals.
- Navy/royal blue sun hat.

General
- Uniform should be clearly labelled with the child’s name.
- Jewellery is not allowed except for a watch and small stud earrings. Hoops or large earrings are not allowed for safety reasons.
- Extreme hairstyles, artificially coloured hair and the use of styling products are not allowed.
- Long hair must be tied back for health and safety reasons. This applies to boys and girls.
- Simple, functional headbands/hairbands, preferably in school colours, to be used (not large bows/flowers or animal ears)
- Make-up, nail varnish or artificial tattoos are not allowed.
PE Kit
Pupils should wear for P.E:
- Plain black/navy P.E shorts
- Plain white/royal blue T-shirt
- Plain black/navy jogging bottoms
- Plan black/navy zipped or pull over jumper or their school jumper
- Trainers for outdoor use (not an expensive brand and velcro type are best for younger children).
